Other Improvements
- Transport Tycoon tries to be realistic and does a fairly good
job. So what on earth is toyland doing?? Graphics in toyland are
appalling, and for some reason Microprose seem to think it is
their best climate! Perhaps they need to do some serious thinking.
- We touched on Mars with a Martian graphics set in the original
scenario editor. How about a proper Mars climate, set in the future
and starting with maglev trains, and clearly no boats, and other
strange systems of travel such as space rockets and so on.
- It would be nice if you could have inter-continental services,
what about all those people living in temperate climate wanting
a hot holiday in the sun, or a cool skiing holiday?
- How about a much larger map, now computers have the power,
and although it is very large when compared to other games, it
would be fun to set up really really long distance services.
- More features in the scenario editor such as putting in rough
land, and a fast way to create random hills over a given area
without removing industries etc.
- You should be able to start the game earlier than 1950, how
about in 1900 as an option? That could be a real challenge on
a large map.
- You should be able to vary the speed of the simulation, because
sometimes its a case of sitting back and waiting for profits to
accumulate before building another venture.
- It would be nice also to have some features such as viewing
the map from any angle, so you can see what's going on round the
back, and transparent buildings doesn't really serve so well.
