For the real sadists who don't like my other ways of sabotaging trains and road vehicles, you can crash them to bits. To start with road vehicles, you can crash them using a train engine and this is how you do it:

Stop a train on the level crossing and wait for a bus/truck to come along. When a bus/truck has arrived just start the train. Because the bus has to start from stationary position, it takes time for it to get up to speed, so it won't get across the level crossing before the train does (provided you have a powerful engine). Then, boom:

Your competitors ratings drops to zero. You can repeat the process several times until all vehicles are destroyed, then sell off you engine for a few pounds less than you paid for it.

To crash trains you will have to sacrifice a vehicle of your own, so be warned. What you have to do is find a cometitors station, build a depot at the end of it, build the cheapest engine you can then set it going, and you might need to make it disobey the depot signal if it is a one track station. Then let it crawl as far onto the competitors station as possible then stop it.

Then just sit and wait for the competitors train to return to the station. Then, BOOM!

Be warned though, if the competitors train enters a train depot as long as your train sits there it will not come out. It does cost the competition money, although you don't get the pleasure of a crash. If it happens just bring your train in again and send it back out. Also be warned your ratings of nearby stations will drop to zero, while the competitors ratings are unaffected.
