Blocking Road vehicles
If you are having trouble competing against a company that is running a road service, there is a very easy way of taking care of it. Build a level crossing, then more two sections of track, put depot at the end. Then buy an engine, set it free. When it reaches the piece of track before the level crossing stop it:
This should cause the lights at the level crossing to turn red. Now press the button to make the train turn around and press the button to make it go back into the depot. Then you can remove all the pieces of track (Not the level crossing!) and you are left with a road with a level crossing still active. No profits for you competitor:
There is not really a cheat to sabotage aircraft, although bear in mind competitors make their planes load full before flying. This means if you can destroy a lot of the houses in one of the towns with the service, it will wait at that town a lot longer, allowing you to get on with your own passenger service.
