A cheat that is very much an error is the following: It only works in the deluxe version but the idea is that when you see a company about to go bust, you buy up 75% of its shares:

Just as it goes bankrupt, sell off all the shares, and suddenly you have a heck of a lot of money to play with! Be warned though, this is an error and can cause your machine to crash, make sure you have saved your game.
