A Two Player Game
In Transport Tycoon deluxe version you can play in two player mode whereby although you can have other computer controlled competitors just as usual you can have a real human player as one of your competitors… This is great fun as then you can have a transport company that acts as a real rival.You can send little messages to each other.
In order to have a two-player game of transport tycoon you must find someone who is willing to play with you. I plan to make that easier. To play a two player game, you one person needs to Dial up another, so to avoid expensive phone bills you will probably want to try to find a partner who isn't that far away.
Tips for a two player game
Set AutoSave for every three months, this is a must because when I played it the slightest upset to the connection could cause it to crash and you had to reboot, this was very annoying.
If you have persistent problems, and it seems slow and venerable to crashes, you might want to reduce your connection speed. Oddly sometimes reducing the connection speed can improve the speed of the game and certainly makes it less crash prone.
